Tasks performed

Manuela is the institute’s librarian in charge of managing the library and the photographic archive, with responsibility for collections development, technical services, and reference services. She assists students and researchers in finding relevant literature and accessing primary sources from the Institute’s own library, from other libraries and archives in Rome and in Italy as well. Manuela is part of the editorial team of Acta ad archaeologiam et artium historiam pertinentia.

Education and Background

Manuela has a Master's degree in Conservation of Cultural Heritage from the Faculty of Lettere e Filosofia at the University of Udine and a Master in Library Information Science – Managing and direction of Libraries from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. She worked in museums, research centres and cultural heritage Italian institutions before becoming responsible for the Auction catalogues collection and Acquisitions Librarian at Villa I Tatti – The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies.
