The Director’s seminar series takes place in the lecture hall downstairs on Tuesday afternoons. Some are internal starting at 4 pm, other are public events starting at 6 pm. DNIR’s visiting fellows, guest researchers, and invited lecturers present current their research. Presentations are usually in English and take the format of 20 minute-papers, followed by a Q&A session and an informal reception in the garden or in the common room upstairs.

Circolo Gianicolense seminars take place 2-4 times per term, alternating between the institutions involved (DNIR, IRF, AUR, AAR). These seminars entail 30 min presentations, respondent’s comments, and ensuing discussion.

Participation is open to the public, but registration is mandatory. Kindly send an email to events@roma.uio.no if you wish to participate.
