PhD research fellow Jorunn Simonsen Thingnes has represented temporary academic staff:

"I have learned a lot about the system that I am a part of, as well as various processes and how it all connects."

Better insight and understanding

"You get a better insight into and understanding of how the university is governed. And not least, you get to know new people from other fields and positions, which is very exciting," says Christine Meklenborg Nilsen.

The faculty board term is four years for tenured academic staff. For students and temporary academic staff the term is one year.
