Simon Okholm

Okholm is currently PhD-student at the University of Bordeaux (Fr) working with philosophy of medicine, more specifically the biology of aging and its relationship to age-related diseases. During his stay at CPS, he will be writing a chapter of his thesis where he investigates three questions about aging: First, a theoretical question: Is aging a disease? Second, a normative question: Should we treat aging? and third, a factual question: Is aging treatable? He argues that the factual question has been neglected, that it is conceptual in nature and that theoretical and the normative questions depends on it.
