The internship course in archaeology was this spring organized as a digital internship. The students were given the task of writing articles for Norgeshistorie.no with the theme "Archaeology in the neighborhood". With hill forts as a basis, the students discussed how the forts have been interpreted by archaeologists and their role as living cultural heritage in local histories and legends. Excursions to the hill forts were undertaken with a safe distance to each other, while the remainder of the work was done over zoom.
This resulted in two fabulous articles, Jernalderens borger and Sagnomsuste bygdeborger (both in Norwegian), which now have been published at Norgeshistorie.no!
