Academic interests

Labour history, especially the international socialist movement during the 19th and early 20th century. My current research investigates the role of Scandinavians in the US socialist and radical trade-union movement, examining relations between activists in “the old world” and “the new”.

Background

Before joining the University of Oslo as a doctoral research fellow, I completed my bachelor’s degree at the University of Agder and Freie Universität in Berlin. In 2022 I delivered my MA, titled: På Internajonal Grunn, Det Norske Arbeiderparti i den internasjonale sosialistbevegelsen 1889−1914.
