What are you going to work with at IFIKK?
I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow working on the Kantian Foundations of Democracy (KanDem) project directed by Dr. Reidar Maliks.
Can you tell us a bit about your research interests?
My research focuses on Kant’s moral and political philosophy, especially the interrelated themes of his relationship to Rousseau and philosophical conceptions of history and anthropology. With the KanDem project, I plan to examine the evolution of these themes in later Kantian thinkers, such as the early Fichte and F. Schlegel.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In addition to spending time with family and friends, I enjoy coffee, travel, and cooking. Though I don’t have much time to watch full games, I follow the National Hockey League rather religiously.
