Academic interests
My research interests range between Knowledge Representation, Logics, Cognitive Science and Applied Ontology.
Current Project
I am a Postdoc within the project C:FORS: Construction in the Formal Sciences, where I am working on the work package involving applying constructional approaches to Formal and Applied Ontology.
Background
I have an interdisciplinary background spanning Philosophy and Computer Science. I earned a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from Università degli Studi di RomaTre, Rome, and a Master’s Degree in Mathematics (curriculum Mathématiques Discrètes et Fondements de l’informatique) at the University of Aix-Marseille (Franco-Italian Master's Program in Logic). In 2023, I completed my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Bozen-Bolzano, with a thesis focusing on the representation of cognitive models of concepts within Description Logics and Knowledge Representation (thesis title: Combining Concepts / Integrating Logical and Cognitive Theory of Concepts).
