On 19.5, Sebastian Watzl was invited to Munich for a dialogue with historian Prof. Arndt Brendecke (LMU) on how norms of attention interact with cultures of vigilance. Prof. Brendecke leads an interdisciplinary center studying cultures of vigilance. We had a fascinating and wide-ranging dialogue covering historical and contemporary dimensions - especially focusing on the societal embedding of norms and cultures of attention. A short summary and video recording of the event can be found here (both in German).
