Abstract: I attempt to develop a theory of structured propositions where propositions and propositional constituents like properties, relations, logical operations, and quantifiers are generated in a never-ending series of stages. The guiding idea behind the theory is that propositional constituents are individuated in terms of the contribution they make to how propositions formed by applying them are (metaphysically) grounded. I will pay particular attention to how properties that are generated at some stage can apply to entities that are generated at later stages.
