Procedure for submitting your Master's dissertation at IFIKK

Deadline for submission

• 15 May (spring)
• 15 November (autumn)

  If you submit by the deadline, your oral examination will be held by the end of June (December). You are otherwise free to submit at any point during the semester up to 15 June (spring) and 15 December (autumn) However, if you submit between 15 May and 15 June/15 November and 15 December, you must assume that your oral examination will be held in August/January.

Before the deadline, you must do the following:

1. submit your Master's dissertation electronically to DUO via StudentWeb
2. upload your Master's dissertation in Inspera
3. submit an electronic form for ordering a diploma

Your dissertation will be deemed to have been submitted on the date that all of the above have been received by the department.

Extra semester:  

• If you do not complete by 15 June/15 December, you must apply for an extra semester.
• The deadline for applying for an extra semester is 1 June and 1 December
• If you have not applied for an extra semester or submitted your Master's dissertation, your admission to the program will be withdrawn.

You can only apply for an extra semester twice. Applications for a second (final) extra semester are processed by the Faculty.
