Two-Part Workshop on "Orthodoxy and the Dynamics of Power in Contemporary Russia"
The Center for Religion and Politics and ILOS invite you all to a workshop/conference series exploring the political and social role of the Orthodox Church in contemporary Russia and its neighboring countries. The discussions will take place over two days:
- Part I: Tuesday, August 27, from 13:15 to 16:00, will feature presentations from Ansgar Jödicke (University of Fribourg, Switzerland), Pål Kolstø (UiO), and Bojidar Kolov (UiO).
- Part II: Thursday, September 12, from 14:15 to 16:00, will feature a talk by John Burgess (Pittsburgh Theological Seminary).
