Academic interests

My interests are most things related to language and brain: first and second language acquisition, language processing, mental lexicon and grammar, and language and memory.

For my PhD project I will be using EEG to investigate second language acquisition from a neurolinguistic perspective in a longitudinal study on acquisition and processing of L2 grammar in adult learners of Norwegian. 

Background

After completing my MA in linguistics at UiO in 2019, I have worked as a research assistant on several projects where I have collected data from children, healthy adults and adults with aphasia using e.g. eye-tracking and EEG. I have also worked as a university lecturer at OsloMet.
