Academic interests include ecocriticism, petroleum oil, imagined communities, processes of heritagization and graphic narratives.
Background
Margrete Hestenes has a master's degree in English Literature from the University of Oslo, and she has also studied biology and library science. She has worked with comics in the Deichman public library and Oslo Comics Expo, in addition to freelancing as a comics critic.
