Hvem er du?
Jeg er doktorgradsstipendiat i nordisk språkvitenskap ved ILN. Jeg begynte som stipendiat i september i år, og prosjektet mitt handler om norsk fonologi. Jeg har tidligere vært tilknyttet instituttet i flere år, både som masterstudent i lingvistikk (2019-2021) og som vitenskapelig assistent ved Tekstlaboratoriet (fra 2018). Utenfor ILN har jeg jobbet i Nynorsk pressekontor i NTB og i Språkbanken ved Nasjonalbiblioteket.
Hva mener du er viktig å fokusere på i den kommende styreperioden?
Jeg vil som representant i instituttstyret jobbe for forutsigbarhet og gode arbeidsvilkår for de midlertidig vitenskapelig ansatte. Jeg vil sørge for at sakene som opptar de midlertidig vitenskapelig ansatte blir hørt, og at kommunikasjonen med ledelsen er åpen og tydelig. Jeg håper og tror at jeg kan være en samlende representant for de midlertidig vitenskapelig ansatte på tvers av fagmiljø.
Who are you?
I am a PhD candidate in Scandinavian Linguistics at ILN. I started my PhD in September this year, and my project is on Norwegian phonology. I have previously studied and worked at ILN for several years, both during my Master's degree in Linguistics (2019-2021) and as a research assistant at the Text Laboratory (from 2018). Outside of ILN I have worked with Nynorsk language at the news agency NTB and for the Norwegian Language Bank at the National Library.
What do think are important focus points in the coming period on the Department Board?
As a Department Board representative, I will work for predictability and good working conditions for the temporary academic staff. I will ensure that the issues that concern the temporary academic staff will be heard, and that the communication with the department management is open and clear. I hope and believe that I will be a unifying representative for the temporary academic staff across academic fields at ILN.
