In this session, we discuss Stefka Eriksen's introduction draft to a book on Minds and Mentalizing in Old Norse Literature and Culture. By examining how minds and mentalizing are described and conceptualized in a variety of Old Norse texts, her main objective is to investigate what Old Norse literature can tell us about medieval minds and attitudes towards mentalizing in Old Norse culture.
