The latest issue of the Scandinavian literature magazine Kritiker (external link) features an interview with Østby and Kukkonen. Under the title "Litterær tankevandring – hvorfor det ikke er galskap å lese bøker", they explore what literary studies and psychology think happens when one reads fiction. The psychologist Østby and the literary scholar Kukkonen discuss what their fields can learn from each other and what role the LCE project plays in this exchange.
