About the seminar

How is the world of publishing and journalism affected by constant connectivity? How are professional values transformed? How do journalists navigate private and professional concerns?

Diana Bossio will present the forthcoming book The Paradox of Connection - How Digital Media is Transforming Journalistic Labor. Using a framework of online connection and disconnection,The Paradox of Connection examines how journalists’ practices are formed, negotiated, and maintained in dynamic social media environments.
