Fritt Ord Foundation Master Grant's - Does your master's thesis deal with freedom of expression?

Announcing student research grants

University of Oslo and the Fritt Ord Foundation hereby announce grants for master’s students writing a thesis on topics concerning study freedom of expression, democracy and human rights.

Three grants of up to NOK 25 000 are announced for master students at the Department of Media and Communication. Send in an application letter (1 page), complete with a project description, timeline, transcript of your grades and your CV.

Application deadline: September 15.

Please note: Only student who have passed the course MEVIT4000 – Master’s thesis seminar is approved.

 

The institute will process the applications. The final disbursement is contingent on the Fritt Ord Foundation's approval of the recommendation.

 

The Fritt Ord Foundation's purpose is to protect and strengthen freedom of expression. The Foundation wants to encourage a lively debate and the bold use of free speech.
