The Department of Media and Communication is inviting open applications from MA students who might be interested to work as research assistants for the Department's academic staff . The length and the contents of the assignments will vary. Assignments will normally require a working knowledge of Norwegian or another Scandinavian language.

- short descripion of your background og why you are interested in such assignnment
- description of which methods (qualitative and quantitative) you master
- which research field(-s) you are most interested in
- what kind of tasks you have experience with
We also remind you that MA-students at the Department can register for MEVIT4896 - Work as a research assistant (https://www.uio.no/studier/emner/hf/imk/MEVIT4896/index-eng.html) as a part of their studies (and this is not the same as paid assignment). In order to take this course you should first make an agreement with one of the Department's researchers (with a PhD degree) about your assistance with an ongoing research project.
