The Creative Computing Hub Oslo (C2HO) is a UiO hub/node project that aims to develop an interdisciplinary network for gathering and sharing relevant expertise and resources about creative computing.
The C2HO Network's May meet-up will celebrate the first year of C2HO. In our last event before the summer break, we will be holding a panel discussion on the use of creative computing in education, there will be the creative computing competition showcase and awards presentations, and a live-coding music performance.
Attendance at this event is free, but requires registration.

He currently works with film directing, photography and editing, as well as with scriptwriting. He is also a consultant for the use of video in online education and communication.

Niklas is known for his electronics, sculpture, music performances and installations, and has performed in as far away places as Mexico and Japan, not to mention pretty much every country in Europe!
Creative Computing Competition
Throughout April and May, we have been running a creative computing competition where the participants have had to create an audio-visual artwork using code. The finalists will be showcasing their work during the event.
Judging the submissions will be music technologist and vocalist Tejaswinee Kelkar, together with Kyrre Glette from RITMO and the Department of Informatics. The winners will be announced at the event, where the contestants are up for winning a share of the 12.000,- NOK prize money.
To make things more interesting, one of the submissions will be by an artificial intelligence (AI) bot - will the judges be able to spot the AI generated submission?!
Information
The event will be held in the foyer of the Science Library, Vilhelm Bjerknes' hus.
Light refreshment will be served.
